Title: The Orelo Mk II is an AMAZING speaker Post by: briefremarks on December 30, 2018, 09:44:33 pm Earlier today, just to experiment, I decided to keep everything the same except to switch to the LX521 speakers I have, and what I was using before the Orelos. In my recollection the LX521 was very, very good: spacious, dynamic, with great imaging and accurate tone. Somewhere in my mind I imagined that perhaps there were some things that the LX521 did that were better than the Orelo.
SHOCK, SHOCK, SHOCK!! The Orelos are so far better than the LX521 I was stunned. The effortless speed, microdynamics, bass, mids, treble, tone, engagement, percussion--EVERYTHING. Peter, Bert: the Orelo is world class. I appreciate them even more after my recent experiment. BUT, just as all the innovations with the Mach III, Lush^2, Blaxius^2, XXHE 2.10c, I wonder if there are some areas to make the Orelo even better!! Happy New Year!
