Title: Blaxius^2 Question
Post by: Gerard on November 14, 2019, 08:49:41 pm
Peter,

In the explanation in the shop about the Blaxius^2 you say this.

Quote
It is just that the Blaxius^2 is not able to "filter" because of its ultra high bandwidth

But that is from the DAC to the AMP.

What about the smal size cables in the DAC and/or AMP?

Hi Gerard,

Bandwidth is length related. The longer the length, the more "roll off" at the high end. Thus higher frequencies will be filtered at longer lengths. For a normal interlink this officially already won't matter (by math), so let alone for this one (rated at a loss of 1.5dB at 100m).

Best regards,
Peter
