Title: Channel unbalanced in favor of the right
Post by: LydMekk on February 26, 2009, 10:54:56 pm
Seems to have an unbalanced playback of 2ch material from my HTPC when using XX. The center of the audio scene in front of me has moved a meter to the right. This only pertains to playback through XX. Other sources from the same HTPC, games, DVDs seems to function normally.

Will try tonight to use WMP and other programs with the same source materials and also try an old version to see if this something which has happened with the last versions.

Any known bugs/faults regd. this Peter?

Certainly not !?

This reminds me of Manisandher who was ever so good as pointing out these things.
I will perform the RME "Digicheck" in due time which will for sure point that out. Btw, not when I can avoid it because currently I'm using the SPDIF clock from the Fireface for driving the I2S interface in my setup, which is fragile and possibly not to be copied at will afterwards ...

Anyway, until you find couter proof, I'm assuming you're right ...
?

Thanks !
Peter

At last got to this (my Fireface is not connected by standard anymore).

Well, nothing seems wrong to me. Not by listening either.
I checked all samplerates including the Invert versions of it.

Did you find anyhthing additionally ?
