Title: Just wondering about sound quality
Post by: boleary on August 14, 2009, 12:36:35 pm
I've been out of town and won't be able to try
9y-1c till tonight or tomorrow. Is it too early to ask about any sound quality differences between 9y-1c and 9x-7?

I won't tell you. :) I'm as deaf as a quail. That is, overhere in Holland quails are deaf. Is this a world-wide phenomenon ?

Though I haven't had an extensive listening session, my first impression is that the sound quality has improved. The treble seems a little less thin, more dynamic, so I can go a bit louder and maintain superb sound. This jumped out at me right away but I really don't trust first impressions. You know how sometimes you "hear" what you want to hear. Anyone else had this experience?
