Has anyone tried a USB3.0 cable instead of a USB2.0?

That innocent people going about their business become collateral damage in a political game played in another country.
Commiserations to all who may have a friend or family hurt by this traffic shooting down of the Malaysian aircraft. Especially all those affected in the Netherlands.

I feel sorry for all those innocent victims in the attack on the plane. Also sorry for so many civilians killed, including women and children, in the present Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Meanwhile our politicians in Europe look away. It's really a shame.

Hi Kjell,

Those words of your wife are the perfect complement for an audiophile. Even for those who are not as lucky as you, those words should come in a recording with each new component as an extra for the perfect happiness. Just an idea  Happy

............. but what Bybees do is very different to the ENACOMS. I would not be without them though.

Paul

I had the opportunity to test my Spectron amps (Digital switching amplifier) with and without Bybees (see pictures) and what I can say is that there is a noticeable improvement in sound with the Bybee purifiers installed. The sound is much more tridimensional with more body and smoother. I think that the Bybees are worth being tested in certain parts of the system such as amplifiers and speakers. My big VR-9Se (Von Schweikert) also had the Bybees inside...

Now Iīm using Genelec speakers that are autoamplified and I donīt know really if I could place the Bybees in some place inside but if I could Iīd do it.

Regards,
Juan

P.S. I have one of this Spectron with Bybees for sale, in case anyone could be interested PM.

Hi Mani, I share your feelings and I also congratulate Germany for the excellent way to play.

I would like however be a bit critical. We should also be aware that the excessive frustration and excitement we're seeing is something to worry about. It may seem easy to position myself so, now that Spain is out of the competition, but seeing the riots caused by the defeat in Brazil and the way we also are engaged in a common project that does not solve any of our problems, is also frustrating. Brazil is a country with many real problems and to lose or win the World Cup do not solve it.
Soccer is a sport and not a way to manipulate people (it should not be, I mean).

Kind regards,
Juan

P.S. Good luck to the Dutch fellows tonight

Yo in Spanish means I (latin etimo ego). Consequently if there is one person that can say Yo (I) here in this forum this is Peter.

Hey Peter WE KNOW YOU ARE THERE!!

(I wonder if for any strange reason he can't hear us) Happy

Thank you Jack. Good luck this evening with Uruguay. England is a good team, I liked specially the fast Sturridge in the match with Italy.

Correct, but the "Tiki-Taka" time is over.
You saw how Bayern Munich beat FC Barcelona in the Champions League with a different tactic last year.
This year Real Madrid smashed the "Tiki-Taka" team Bayern Munich (with Pepe Guardiola), and then Holland Spain a couple of days ago.
But Spain will come back with their wonderful technicians.

Joachim

Spain could not play tiki taka in this World Cup except (partially) in the first half of the match against Holland. Tiki taka consists in two parts, in the first part the players have the control of the ball passing it between them and suddenly (second part) in a very fast way the players end the play with an attack. Spain has not had this time the control of the ball nor sufficient precision passing the ball. To play well tiki taka it is necessary to have technique, precision, imagination and speed in the final part of the play. I do not think that this way to play is obsolete, it is just difficult to play well this way.
What is obsolete, I think, is the term tiki-taka mostly because it is commonly applied only to the first part of a play (passing the ball between the players) forgetting that fast final part.

Juan

Spain was tired physically and mentally. We never played as we used to do. Our time is over for now but we, the Spaniards, must be grateful for the last fantastic six years.

I recently discovered some cables with a capacitance as low as 47pF/m. The cables are hand made by order and this is what the technician who build them told me when I asked him about the capacitance of this cables (this is a translation, sorry if there is some technical fault):
This cables are the most neutral and clean I ever had. I compared this cables with the AntiCables and found the AntiCables adding some kind of brilliance, same as Mani said. As a plus they are cheap. Now all my cables are made by this guy including the power cable for the NOS1 with an L shape connector which make it easier to route the interconnection cables without touching the power cord.
If anyone is interested in this cables PM to juanpmar@gmail.com. Iīll be glad to help.
Regards,
Juan

I use these cables for some months now and I only can concur with Juan, these are very neutral cables. Compared to my other cables (cryo, silver, etc) these cables do everything so much better, that I really forgot them  Happy.
Apart from the SQ, these cables are robustly build and have a more than reasonable price).
So in anticipation to the NOS1a, don't forget these cables.
Thanks Juan.
Regards,
Stanley

Yep Stanley, I'm really happy with my cables too. Are they the best cables available? Dunno. If I suddenly became a billionaire tomorrow, I'd probably order a 10m pair of Tellurium Black Diamond balanced interconnects. But until that happens, at something like 1/50th of the cost of the Telluriums, the cables Juan had made up for me are staying. I simply cannot fault their sound.

I'd highly recommend anyone looking for very high value-for-money new cables to drop Juan a line.

Mani.

Hi Stanley and Mani. Thanks so much. I'm glad that the cables are working so well in your systems.

Kind regards,
Juan

Are you using the cables that I sent you?

Hey Juan, I forgot to reply to you. Yep, I'm using the cables you sent me. I think they're really good. I'm sure I've said it before - even at 10m length, they seem to have absolutely no detrimental effect on the sound. I'm very pleased with them, and for the money they were a steal.

Cheers, Mani.

Great!

Juan
