Thanks Paul for the information, as I said I´ll consult with Airlink after the Holidays. I live in downtown Madrid and I don´t have a personal garden, so I can´t put my own earth rod but I already have an independent electric circuit just for the music system. At least that´s something.

I´ve been using lately a new hdd from WD, the Red one, for music storage. I even played music directly from this hdd and the sound is great. Although it was made mostly for operating in NAS and RAID environment I use it as a standalone hdd and works perfectly. So a new hdd to take into account if you need more hdds for music storage. Recommended.

Just a quick note. 9z-8a is working ok with the Peter´s settings and based in the 00.9z-7-5 settings I had in my Bios and OS which were, at the same time, based in Nick´s settings.

What I can tell is that the sound is even cleaner and the bass is firmer. Beautiful sound just right now although I have not playing around with the settings.

So, thank you Peter, for this new great version.

What I´d like to know (sorry if it is already treated here) is:

- Is W8 better than W7?, I mean, could someone corroborate it with some consistent tests?.

- I use W7 and I overclock my system (in the Bios), should I maintain this overclocking setting with the 0.9-8a version or I have leave to the new XTweaks do the job?.

Arvind, great system!. I see that you keep the EMM Labs player and also a Theta digital (not sure), I wonder if you are still using them once in a while.

I´d wish the volume could be set to 0.5dB increments or at a maximum of 1db increments in place 1.5db steps like it is now.

As can be seen (more or less) I have two places from where I listen music, while I´m working in my computer I´m seated behind the sofa at the table and if I´m just listening I choose the sofa. From both places I´m in the middle of the speakers and the sound is a bit different but equally good.
