Yesterday I upgraded my Laptop to Vista 32Bit and since XX shows me that I run a demo version of it, I copied XXHighEnd1xx.DAT into the W-5 folder but it won't work.
Any suggestions?

The activation code does only work one time (as far as I know).
What you need is the XXHighEnd1xx.dat file, which created itself when you activated your XXHE.
This file contains your activation and needs to be copied everytime you upgrade XXHE to the new folder.

but if youlost your XXHighEnd1xx.dat file, Peter will propably give you a new one if you ask him kindly

I understand, it's no problem at all.
It could be that this problem only occurs on my laptop. So check first if it works on another SP3 PC.

For me (Win XP SP3) it's not possible to show Coverart on the desktop anymore, is this SP3 related, or does it work with this on other PCs?

Second questions concerns the integration of cover arts in flac files. Since this is possible for flac since, ehm some version, this'll be a neat addition to the cover art files. (or is this already beeing supported and I don't see it?)

maybe (almost certainly) it's a gimmick, but could it be possible to show the XX symbol as Wallpaper, if there is no Coverart in one folder?

Last time you had the idea that this problem could be caused by windows or another programm that indexes the files in the music folder.
Do you have an idea how I can solve this problem, if this should be the problem?

The same happens again

Maybe someone has an idea what my problem acually is.
I had this problem before and I soved it with reinstalling Windows (XP) and reripping my music.

Everytime I start my XXHE Library my CPU turns to 100% and XXHE crahes.
The XXHE 0.9t-5 demo version just works fine searching the same folder for music with the Library function.
0.9t-7 demo crashes.
0.9t-6 demo doesn't crash.

I have no idea what it could be.

But (!) the biggest fish in the sea for high res audio, DVD-Audio (around 1000 titles), is not possible to playback on XXHE.
Isn't it?
At least it would be illegal to rip a DVD-A.
I know that some hackers achived that, but for wide use?

I think we'd better think of a way to playback DVD-A (is there any way to achive this anyway????)
