I hardly dare to say it. Maybe I must get used to the special sound. Maybe it *is* special. But it really is something else.

What are your thoughts about this piece of equipment today?

Let me again refer to my Q3,4,5 now all at 0, which adds smear (yea, really)

Yes agree with this finding quite noticeable when trying today. From here I have not tried any other settings but left Q3,4,5 at 1,1,1.

I don't understand the relationship with these settings so its probably in your good hands Peter.

But this was not all ...

I think that most people will use Q3,4,5 at 1,1,1. Well, a week ago I suddenly heard how that now could go. This too is difficult to explain, but I'd say that everybody who uses 1,1,1, will know why he does that. And I now heard that it was not "necessary" any more.
And THAT beat all ...

This most certainly works in my setup very noticeable. I never would have thought to try this one.

I notice you have also changed some XTweaks : Balanced Load = *68* / Nervous Rate = 10 / Cool when Idle = n.a / Provide Stable Power = *1* / Utilize Cores always = 1 / Time Performance Index = Optimal / Time Stability = Stable.

I've had the Stable power at "0" for some time did you intend to change this?

You are still using Custom filters as well? I'm still with Arc Predict.

I investigated online and its a problem with remoting from a computer with a newer version of Win OS than the one being accessed (Ram OS). My Music server runs latest W10. Robert

Sorry picture bad put a screen shot up now.

When I tick yes it connects to Ram os. Password is not a problem just the error message.

Since 8th Jan I get a "Remote Desktop Connection warning identity of remote computer cannot be verified.

How can I fix this?

A:W-Y-R-G, B:W-Y-R should be the correct shipped.

As far as I'm aware this is still the reference.

There has been little input in general on different connections from people other than Peter. Even I'm still running this after 6 weeks. I'm still getting my head around a new Mach III which was a massive sound improvement and has somewhat over shadowed the Lush^3 for me.

Changing SFS to 20.69 made a big difference. But preferring Arc Predict over custom filters at this stage. While the new cable hasn't over whelmed me there certainly is more inner detail and bass. I'm running with shipped config until cable settled and my hearing.

Finally got my Lush 3. Was held up in Australia waiting for a flight to NZ.

Question: disconnecting the various shield connections while music is playing does not seem to cause any problems like clicks or bangs or disconnections. Is this the case for all?

At this point I do have more bass definition but not sure on the state of the treble.

Is there any updates on XXhighend settings or Lush 3 settings?

Yes no wires connected. Forgot the black jumpers wasn't using them.

I removed the shield wires from the connectors both ends and have listened all weekend. Replacing connectors today in the last config: A:B-Y & W-R, B: B-Y & W-R.

Definitely a difference and I have to say I like no shield connections and went back to this. Something about this sound that is easier, more natural, better balance from bass to vocals.

I can't compare to Lush 3 but suggest all Lush 2 owners should try this.

Peter taking the lead from the latest Lush 3 settings is there any reason why this would not work removing jumpers from both ends of the Lush 2.

Welcome aboard the Phasure train Ken you are not the only one over 60, so you are in good company!!!

Yes I've just gotten use to an upgrade to the Stealth Mach III which was massive with the Lush 2 and now Lush 3.

Your review has me worried now I guess I will succumb. Your music suggestions are great, sent me to find them now.

Being a late starter for a Mach III upgrade and attempting to get this during Covid, the wait has been well worth it. All comments above are correct. I have had it since July 20th but only just optimized it with Remote and removing USB mouse, keyboard and monitor.

Gosh this really does make a quite a large difference and not so difficult to achieve(easy once you know how). On clear vocals its now easy to hear fluctuating volume and tone from singers moving around the microphone in the studio something I have never heard before. This was on two albums.

This upgrade is a giant leap in sound quality and certainly is fundamental in any audio system.

ACG get a Stealth Mach III before a Lush 3, while Lush 3 is another step up the Stealth Mach III is several steps up like a giant leap.
