Arvind,

Then you should be the more rare occasion that somehow logging in from your own country does not work any more. You could send me your tidal email and password by email. I can log in for you from here and send back the .dat file. You put that in your XX folder and it should work again.

Regards,
Peter

Hi Arvind,

Once in the (unknown) time, the Tidal Session runs out. This means you must re-login. Official logout was never made (I will put that in my ToDo now).

In your XX folder there's a TidalSession.dat file. If you delete that, the login screen appears which you ever back saw (restart XXHighEnd and apply a Tidal Search for it).

Kind regards,
Peter

Hi Mani,

It seems unbelievable but I am still working on that. As a matter of fact I just wanted to continue with it (again).

Btw, providing the code is not the problem (read : the manual procedure would still work, for 2.xx that is). The problem is stupid PayPal which just doesn't pass on your email address to the pages involved, so you wouldn't be able to get an email with the Code.
But I am making something "manual" now. I mean, you can enter your email address on the order page and that can be passed on. Or something like that.

But as said, the manual procedure still works (if you still know how to apply that).

Regards,
Peter

Ha ! Well done !!

Now Tore, please do yourself a favor and make a document where you refer to your post here, so you can prove to yourself later that you had it solved (with my small note that this happened a few times before Happy). This is good for your confidence later.

It is and remains true that connections with regard to the Phisolator are crazily fragile. This is a most strange phenomenon in itself (and explained by capacitance leaking-in).

Best regards,
Peter

Hi Tore,

But why in the middle of a track?

When I read back on this, I now see that I interpreted this as "in between tracks". My bad. But does not matter much …

What does matter is that I can't keep track of your reporting about this. For example, look at your email from February 9, 2018. This refers to your G3 and how you had it there, but also how it was solved. So you announced the problem x times, but also solved it x times some times explicitly, some times by not responding any more.
Yes, it will be related to the Phisolator (I did not try to find the emails about that), but notice that you now came up with the problem after you connected your Mach II. So … I am afraid it is just too difficult for your situation to a. observe the issue and b. solve it.

Ad a.
If I would run into the issue because of a new PC, I would be sure that it is about how I connect (ground) things. This is easy for me because I know more or less how it works. If you run into the issue at connecting a new PC, the new PC is causing it.

So … too difficult to track for me, by now.

Either
1. Solve it by means of different grounding, combined with different NOS1 Driver buffer size (like 2, 4, 8, 12 or 16ms)
or
2. Bypass the Phisolator.

Notice that the scratches you hear come from the build up of "capacitance" (think like charging a battery) and when it is charged, it discharges and with that causes electrical disturbance. Depending on the situation this can be super regular (like once per 12 seconds, or 10 times in a row per 70 seconds (just making up things !)). But the cause is and remains the grounding somewhere. Or different apparatus (lights / leds).

Best regards,
Peter

All,

Only day before yesterday I wrote this :

Otherwise I have been working for weeks on fi-nal-ly a 64 bit OS for my main PC, actually in use since Windows 2000 (always upgraded but which can only be done to 32 bits). A huge task, finished last week.

to find out today that someone wanted a new Activation Key for his 1.xx version which I can't generate any more. I never even thought of this when I was struggling a bit with getting the 2.xx Key Generation to work again for this software which was created 12 years or so ago. So point is :
This software had to be re-installed, which in this case implies re-compile and linking and a bit more, which I can't even do any more for the old 1.xx software (I just don't have that program code any more). So as long as it remained installed it was fine. But that could not happen with this transition from the 32 bit to the 64 bit OS.

And so people with 1.xx (which includes 0.xx (yes)) are "advised" to obtain a new Activation Code by PayPal. Good for me, but good for you as well because if you are still on 1.xx you hugely miss out by now (more so with the upcoming 2.11).

Having said this, this morning I also discovered that I forgot about the XXHighEnd installs all together. So at this very moment obtaining a Code via PayPal also does not even work. And then to think that this morning way early the very last thing I thought I had to do was setting up a new Backup means (now running), while right after that it appeared that I forgot something quite crucial. scratching
I assume this in itself will be solved soon. When so I will announce this in a next post. And oh, if you have paid the 72 euros to PayPal and never heard anything back, don't worry BUT let me know. I mean, this is mainly about the emailing system which hasn't been set up for PayPal yet, so I myself won't even see any message about a license purchase.

Peter

Were you looking at this for Ram OS?

Robert, this is not even audio related. Just my main PC for doing general things like writing emails or writing this post (and a million things more). Apologies if I was confusing.

520  Ultimate Audio Playback / Cables (Community induced) / Re: The greatest invention in/for Audio (Lush^2) on: May 24, 2019, 07:43:43 am
Hi there All,

Since 3 weeks I am using this configuration for my Lush^2 :

A:B-R & W-Y, B:B-R

Although one's head can be twisted because of the different configurations and perceptions, I am pretty sure that this one is special in one area at least : UNannoyance. Or IOW, there is nothing that ever annoys with this configuration.

What's also with this one is what I started to call "nice splashing". Could be new for audiophile phenomena, but what I mean with it is easy : when a cymbal is hit, it develops its sound, and that developing goes ever so nice with this config. I'm not saying it is "so real" and such, but merely that it keeps occurring that someone hits a splash cymbal where previously it did not jump out at all (that I ever noticed).

Does bass excel ? I think so. But in a mere unnoticeable fashion or something. It *is* special because it is firm (very firm actually). But the key thing with this config should be that it does not disturb. I mean, bass all so often can be regarded as too much or too much lacking or it buzzes a bit and maybe more (annoyances). Not so now at all. Much more music and mush less attention is required to the technical aspects of the reproduction.

The detail ? I would swear this is more again. Maybe it is related to said splashing, but the highs seem to be rendered with more resolution, which in the end makes the detail more palpable and therefore from a next order of beautifulness : all is ultra smooth and with that make jump out the mid detail. Thus no screaming of sharp highs, but a kind of the opposite with is harder to explain in the midst of the clearly more detail. All less fake or something. And btw just using normal Arc Prediction filtering in XXHighEnd.

Much much sparkle. And I think this is because of more body to it.

Happy listening with your new Lush^2. Haha.

Have to note Audiophile Style site is also nearly asleep.

Yes, it's all a bit "malaise" lately (this whole year, so far), everywhere.

What I noticed is that
a. nobody is asking for where ever this new XXHighEnd version is;
b. I myself do nothing much about it while it is ready since end of December.

So what ?

Out of misery I started changing some colors this week. Luckily this is not even easy, so I can nicely try new solutions each day for the 10 minutes I dedicate to it.
unsure
Anyway, thinking for MONTHS now to make the Release Notes.

Something else is that normal life started to be quite busy. Economics seem OK lately, although Trump tries to demolish that.

Otherwise I have been working for weeks on fi-nal-ly a 64 bit OS for my main PC, actually in use since Windows 2000 (always upgraded but which can only be done to 32 bits). A huge task, finished last week.

Lastly, Phasure can by now be renamed to The Cable Company or something like that; cables of various kinds go out really every day in a continuous flow for two years now. Some times cable orders are held up by a Mach III PC or even a new NOS1 yes.

Have fun !

It looks like I managed to move a main PC over here from a still 32 bits OS (dating via-via-via several OS upgrades back to even prior to the year 2000) to 64 bits.
All what seems to remain is buying a new scanner which really won't get to work with its old (though so-called) upgraded driver and control program.

Dear Shreekant,

With Explorer, go into the folder you see mentioned (C:\XXHighEnd\2.xx) and delete the 01 Track01.wav file (don't throw in the trashbin, use shift-delete instead).
That should work ...

Kind regards,
Peter

All,

At this moment most of the pictures (like in the Tutorials or Release Notes) won't show.
Hopefully this will be solved soon.

Charlie, interesting ...
The problem is that someone like me can always play 705.5 or 768, regardless. So ... scratching

If you have more data, I will be happy to read about it.
Thanks !
