And maybe related to this: When I use the left library button I don't get all the tracks for the album, like a top50 with missing songs:
And when I select everything it doesn't play and after stopping I get a strange message.
When selecting one song it works. Found it... Different filetypes mixed in one directory..
(And everytime it says it can't find the "uitgever" and I have to convince Vista I trust you!)

He something has changed in version v6!
Now it is better but still a bit strange:

Update: With some playing around I'm back at the old situation and have to minimize to get it perfect..

Ha ha printscreen of the xx-program changes to the desktop-background and I get a nice picture of the coverart against a black background.
I use gadwin to make the screenprints.
I can put the old (8.5 iso 8. ATI drivers back but the process of installing ATI-drivers is not something you do for your pleasure.
But I'll do it someday just for curiosity, don't wait for it!

Very weird..
When I minimize xx to the taskbar and maximize it the problem is gone!!
When I exit and start again I have to minimize and maximize again.

No go, new folder, new install, don't copy settings -> demo mode.
Without pictures it looks good but then I try music with folder.jpg and the picture on the left is out of it's bounderies again.
On my XP-machine it looks ok.
So maybe the new ATI-drivers???
BTW If I install in a new directory it is in demo-mode, how do I make it a licensed version?

One thing that bothers me is that the clear-button dissappears like in your pictures too.
The other is that the picture on the left side overlaps with the center-panel which apperantly does not happen for you.
The funny thing is that when I change the sizes the picture keeps overlapping.
I'll try your suggestion and see what happens.

Well I guess it is my wireless multimedia keyboard that is a little bit difficult to use, in combination with the 17 inch in the living room and the "directory opus' explorer. So the cut and paste from the unzipped directory to the program files/xxhigend directory went wrong.
It is even difficult to type this.(where is the cursor gone...)

A new problem on the 17 inch: The albumpicture on the left overlaps with the middle panel and scales up and down together with the middle panel. So I can not change the settings.At the start I could not even use the clear-button because it was not there.
I can not make a printscreen because then I only see the wallpaper with the coverpicture.
Maybe it is a problem of the ATI-drivers??

Aha, that explains why I see autoexec.bat in the coverartscreen!
Will try to get some subfolders, on the small screen it's easy to mess this up!

About the fifth song the silence definitely started just before the song had ended, the last 'words' were cut off.
After that the next song plays silently on.(Attended mode, default settings)

I had the same thing happening yesterday, the music stopped but unexpected it started again after about 10 minutes or so.

OK, I'll try to do this tomorrow.
Since I'm installing a new htpc now, not everything is working yet.
But the sound is working better then on the laptop, less strange noises on startup and a clear difference in the Q1 settings.
Maybe I will prefer -2, but a little bit fireplace-sound...

I am very happy now with this soundcard/box.
I use it as a DAC and not the SPDIF-out so I don't get that message.
What happens if you try to connect the phase 24 to your amplifier directly?
I'm really curious what you think of the sound that way!!
