About the bass I would say, although it was never booming, it is now more bass feeling and less booming. A bit difficult to explain.
But for me it is singing now.

I am using Lush now for 1 day. Very first impression, I am missing something. But within some tracks I started to appreciate the sound. Really smooth and warmer but with same details AND better bass again.
Maybe because I am used to tube amps the first impression was different from others, Clairixa is sharper.

Mani, I also tested with Clairixa some days ago with PE and without Phisolator. I did not liked that. To me Lush does something similar to the SQ BUT the right way!

I use 192.168.1.2 as fixed IP address.

You are correct. But you can determine a fixed ip address on the lan card and use that on both sides.

It is now the second day I have the B'ass G3 upgrade. What Paul already told about SQ all is very, very true.

This is NOT a subtle upgrade, I is a MUST upgrade for the NOS1a. The SQ goes from WOW to WOW*WOW.
I do not know how to tell it but now with the music you also get the essence of it. The whole picture with all the details.

I am really happy with this upgrade.

And knowing my wife is not happy with to much bass..... although the upgrade call B'ass this is the best bass ever heard! So I can say WE are happy with this!

Issues solved! I was doing something nobody else does: I used a Ethernet isolator between music server and audio pc. (mi 1005) Took it out of the chain!
No more USB issues and I can use the mobo usb as well. And it sound better then the Silverstone.
So bad Ethernet can give you usb errors!

I open this thread again because after 3 months of no issues they just started this afternoon. I was playing some albums and all was fine and then I heard the ticks again: USB and Fifo errors. I was still using the Siverstone USB because that solved the issues last time in November.

I rebooted, but that did not help.

Weird thing, I changed to the mobo USB and that solved the issues again.

So I have no issues now anymore, but something strange is going on. Still a mobo issue somewhere?
