When I rip a cd or convert a track from flat to wav. And when I open the file in xxl I inevitably get ._ 01 ....  how can I avoid this. I have attached a screen shot.
I’am using dB power amp and my comp is Mac Pro.

I have a problem, while playing an album a track in random stops playing and only ticking sound is heard. The following messages are flashed, this naver happened in the past.
The settings are as per the 14393 / 2.10 version.
Can you please help.

I have upgraded to 2.10, and the setting is that of the stealth comp.
In some of the albums I’am getting these pop ups & when I cancel them the album starts playing. Just want to know if it’s because of the settings of the stealth on the non stealth comp version.

Peter,
I have attached a screen shot, I just disabled the crack detection and the problem of playback stopping due to crack detection has stopped however in some track I can hear crackling noise in places. I want to know if I should continue like this.

1) In w10 when I set the Time pref.index to "Stable"in the Base and reboot to RAM it does not remain as set. When Refresh is clicked it flashes error.
How do I make the time pref. remain "stable"

2) nervous rate setting suggested is 100 for the stealth comp. I do not have the stealth comp, but I'am using the settings of stealth. should I keep the nervous rate as 1 or 100.

Hi Peter,
I converted the mono recording to stereo and the problem was solved. However I still cant understand why a mono recording should play at double the speed.
There were two identical recordings from two mixers L & R and both were mono, even when I mixed the two to render one new track it did not work, but after converting them to stereo with Audacity software it worked.

Hi,
I copied a wav file from a pen drive directly into a music folder and when I played it through xxh it was playing at perhaps double the speed of the track.
I even decoded it through a software and saved it to the folder but the result was the same.
Can anybody reason this?

The program reads  folder.jpg . I just realised that it is not important to have the Artist or Album name.
Yes I changed the downloaded image details as it appears in the website and saved it as folder.jpg
I'am quite sure it works as just now I had downloaded an album image and forgot to rename it ,and xxh did not read it. As soon as I renamed it Folder.jpg the image was displayed.

Hi Peter,
I guess the program is reading the encrypted artist/album name attached to the image and displaying it.
the other thing is that 500x500 pixel image size was not displayed. I tried successfully upto 350x350 pixels.
Widows 10 supports the following image formats:
.bmp .dib .ico, .jiff  .jpe .jpeg .jpg .png .tiff .tif .wdp
I wonder if you can make out anything from this.

Dear Peter,
I have now renamed a few cove art as per the sample above and the display comes  in the left pane like before.
I guess this solves the problem.
The pain is that I will have to rename all the cover art description.

Hi Peter,
1. Yes the Music root is set correctly in  the settings. its a bit difficult to clarify so maybe I will take screen sots of each step and send you tomorrow.
2. When there is no cover art display the xx high end logo is displayed on the left pane.
3. However a little while ago I noticed that the description of the cover art is perhaps read by the program if it has the album name or artist name followed by folder.jpg. I'am going to try renaming some album cover art and see. I hope this works. will inform you.

Hi Peter,
When 'L' is clicked then all the music root is displayed in the left pane & when one folder is chosen then it asks " Music Root Here & Cover art Here"
On choosing option 1 all music root  is displayed in the middle pane. Some have cover art and some don't even though it is in the folder.
I opened one with the cover art & the tracks were in the middle pane & the cover art was on the left pane.
Then another album i opened and the cover art was on the right pane and not on the left.
I checked the description of the cover art, it was " Kaushiki Folder.jpg" so
I changed the description on other albums but it did no get displayed.
" Kaushiki is the artist"
I hope this tell you some thing.
