61  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: 2.08 Error on: September 25, 2017, 03:13:39 pm
Hello Peter,

After I received the errors last night and was unable to have music play, I installed the 2.07 patch over the 2.08 and everything went back to working.

Possibly in a couple of hours I can try the 2.08 patch again and send you the log file.  Can this patch be applied while minimized or should it be in the regular OS?

BTW, I am using build 10586.

Thanks,

David

Hi Peter,

I just installed 2.08 over 2.07 and now when I try to play a file three errors pop up.

The first- Caller :J could not find the file.
Second- System IO. File not Found ( From ...unicode track0001.wav.)
Third- Not enough space on playback drive.

I've been using the RAM disk for the playback drive.

I've never had these trouble before with the "overwriting" update and it is strange they suddenly came about.

Best,

David

63  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: Losing RDC connection for no good reason... on: March 24, 2017, 06:25:32 pm
Thanks. I only have  music on NAS so I cannot control the audio PC by that. It seems that if a connection is lost while the music is playing in unattended, there is no way to re-establish a connection until after a hard boot.  I'll just  keep the tablet on as long as music is playing.

Brian, I haven't yet found out if I can get your suggestion to work. The issue seems to be on the audio PC side. The  losing,  then the locking up the "other user" remote connection.

I've just switched over to using the RDC connection and had the Audio PC freeze up with a black screen after the connection was lost. Only the hard reboot gets everything back up and running.

I am not having troubles today and am keeping a tablet on and connected full time but I  had a couple of questions about using RDC.-

Is it possible to play music unattended, (minimized) from the tablet and log off once the music starts  and log back on once it stops playing? If so, is it also okay to log off from the tablet and log back on with another device once the music stops?

Thanks,

David

Thank you Peter.

What a nice surprise today and the changing of the UAC requirements will make using Tidal so much easier for me.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

That may be as I never play music on it.

I only log into this computer about once every two weeks in order to get music to stream on my remote server. The only thing I would have done was paste the 2.06 patch over the 2.04.

The title bar was red and I could change the core appointment so it was activated. I'm going to install 2.06 and reactivate and see if everything is normal.

Hi Peter,

It is activated but I just tried what you said with v 2.03 and I was able to log in fine. Also the streaming works.

I tried that and do receive the new login screen but when I type my user name and password, it says failed. I changed my password just to make sure it was correct and it still wont log in for some reason. When I use the web browser, my account logs in fine.

I am using W8 and XXHE 2.06 on a separate computer for steaming Tidal songs. Everything has been working great and there have been no issues until yesterday when I received the  attached error.

Has anyone else had trouble with Tidal recently? I can't imagine what changed on my end since I only use this W8 partition for the streaming.

Hello Peter,

I think I found the problem. My Tidal folders were on the NAS and I switched them to a local disk and now everything works as it is supposed to.

First error in Tidal is Download Image- A exception occurred during a WebClient request.

Log is attached. I may just re-install this Windows if you can't find anything in the log.

Thanks,

David
75  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Web Client request error on: December 21, 2015, 06:19:19 pm
I've installed 2.03a in a windows 8 machine and when I try the search in Tidal I have many web client request errors show up. The albums show up after clicking away the errors but without thumbnails. The same errors show up when I try to prepare for steaming also. Of course, I can not get anything to play. unhappy

Does anyone have any suggestions?

David
