With the new RAM OS now in my system, I would like to understand how activation of Win 10 works.
Pressing the Activate button creates a error message.

I did not see anything about it in the tutorials.
Or maybe there is no need to activate?

So here a short verdict regarding the Intona I received 3 days ago.
As most of you know by now, I purely listen with Headphones since I do not not use a speaker setup anymore. One of the reasons for that is space and really poor room accoustics.

So the main thing that surprised me with the Intona was the added depth and width of the soundstage.
The localisation of instruments is *much* improved. When I close my eyes, the illusion of having the music in front of me is perfect now.
Soundstage is really graphical, 3D like. It is simply fantastic.

And I am not even using a second Clarixa cable yet.

So now I am wondering what else Peter has up the sleeve.... can it get any better?

The fact that you did not find the title might be also related that I signed up for Tidal in the US.
In this way, I pay the lower US monthly fee.
But that could also imply regional differences in the offering of albums.

Thanks for pointing out that not all streams on Tidal are indeed Hifi, was not aware of that.

I have some more searching struggles. Here's a tough one I have no solution yet.

No solution found yet to have it appear in XXHighEnd.

Maybe there is a way to make the search feature in XXHighEnd more robust?
Meaning that when I enter a correct substring, the album would still appear.

But in my example there must be another reason. It is not showing up when I exactly enter the Album Title.

Any thoughts?

ok.... Handel: Messiah did the trick.

That means for complicated stuff first figure out the exact title in Tidal app.

Classical titles seem really difficult. Maybe there is a way to make the whole searching a bit easier in XXHighend.

The Album I was looking for is actually a different one, and I still was not able to get it.

I just installed the new version 2.04.
I was playing a bit with Tidal and in principle, it works very well. The one thing I have a very hard time with is actually finding stuff.

One example:

I was trying to find the Handel Messiah with Emmanuelle Haïm (2014)
I tried various search term i used in the Tidal desktop app.
I tried Messiah, Emmanuelle Haïm etc.
The album I am looking for does not turn up.

So my question is, how to easily find stuff in Tidal with XXhighend?

It seems the big challenge comes with classical albums, with Pop it is easier since the artist name usually brings up the correct results.

Any tips and pearls are highly appreciated.

It is really funny, the problem only occurs from Mac to PC, not the other way around.

i will start to investigate a bit more.

Currently, I am convinced that a service is stopped that I would need.

If I find out something, I will post here.

As far as I remember, I tried min OS once in Win 8 and I encountered exactly the same.

The problem only occurs in Min OS.
In Normal OS, there is no problem, that means it is most likely not a configuration problem.
So my conclusion is that a service is disabled, that I would need for my convenience.

Both Keep LAN and persist are marked.
I can connect from Audio-PC to Mac but not the other way around.

For convenience reasons, I would like still to be able to go from Mac to PC.

One question regarding Min OS.
I cannot connect from Mac to the XXHighEnd PC anymore.
In this case when connecting from Mac, XXHighEnd PC would act as a server.
Which service do I need to turn on in order to get that working again. I normal OS no problem with that.
The connection is done with SMB protocol.
I am using Win 10, built 10074.

So I set back the date 3 months.
Works fine

Please note that if you set back the date one year, the system will not boot any more and will go into recovery mode. Quite strange.

Anyway, very happy with the SQ, now even in minimized OS.
