This problem will remain, for all of us, unless somebody comes with a decent remote option.
That does not influence SQ, but sure functionality is also a big issue, just keep the RDC.
Did not try this myself, I only have 1 PC, for know.
We just wanted to report you about the disadvantages of using RDC. (vs SQ)
But is should be possible, to do this the right way. (with using 2 PC's)

Maybe under "taskbar and startmenu properties" options tick "Lock Taskbar"
(so rightclick on the windows logo, hit properties)
maybe this helps to keep your taskbar

Just put AHK (xx.ahk) shortcut it in the startup folder (optional: together with shortcut of xxhighend.exe)
C:\users\(your namexxxxxxxxxxx)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\startup
And all will startup automaticly.

try hit the Windows-button or rightclick were the toolbar should be.

Maybe try restart the service "Remote Desktop Configuration"

Nice card anyway, this is a nice solution for a bargain, just add an word-clock and some red BlackGate's for fun, some WBT-nextgen silver connectors some pure silver-wire.
Give it its own power supply (shunts), some nice interlinks..........

It maybe won't fit your zalman,

If it all works out, we are very happy to hear the results, try to get used to it how it sound right now.

Can there be (FLAC) in the filename, I think this can not be.
Or you maybe solved it already.

Fidelio, just remove (FLAC) out of the filename location and you have your coverart back, hehe
And look in the Library section of xx and you will see that xx already puts (FLAC) there.
This could be causing the problem, I think.

Like I said before,

Still no Timer here, sometimes when starting Unattended, its there for like 3 sec.
And then its gone.

Then I am really curious what a rather good souncard can do for you.
I would say get a Juli@, you can hold solder-iron a make yourself a decent COAX SPdif.
But you prefer a PCIe, then I don't know accually, Maya or STX

First of all the Asus best part is the analog part.
But we are not interested in that, I dont.
I want spdif to dac for now (until NOS1 comes available)
But maybe some people like it for its analog achievements

I think maybe this card can do better than the Juli@ or others in this league. (or because maybe you can fiddle around with power supplies on STX)
I like the juli@ very much for know, still awaiting that better solution.

The Juli@ is quite cheap compared to the Asus Essence STX.
Only the juli@ needs tweaking output for decent COAX spdif connection.
