Hi Peter,
With XXHE playing in unattended mode if I click Alt+X, normally it should bring up XXHE screen, but in my case the screen, to sign in, comes up. I have to key in/enter my password, then hit Alt+X to bring up XXHE.
Is there something I need to do in settings? This problem is observed after I installed W 10074 as my OS.
Best regards,
Arvind

Hi Peter,
It's the Pro version.
I don't recall which site I downloaded it from but I presume it must be from the site recommend by you on the forum. But then again I may be wrong. I had downloaded it a long time back but didn't have the courage to use it then.
Best regards,
Arvind

Hi Peter,
Maybe I didn't explain it correctly.
-I boot my PC. -Open XXHE. -Load a track in the playlist & click play. -Play doesn't take place, instead I get 2 error messages. "MemOrg error 02; if this persists switch off Garbage Collect in settings". "Input string was not in correct format". -I go to settings deactivate Garbage collect. -Click play & it starts. -Re Activate Garbage Collect, XXHE plays OK. -Again on next reboot the same process has to be followed.
Best regards,
Arvind

Hi Peter,
I have include garbage collect on in my settings. Whenever I boot & start XXHE, it doesn't play & I get an error msg stating to shut garbage collect. Shutting it play starts. After playing a track, I start garbage collect & it plays.
This happens after every boot.
What could be the reason?
Best regards,
Arvind

Hi Peter,
I followed the below quoted steps which you sent me.
Ctrl+shift+esc brings up Task manager. In TaskManager : Go to the File Menu in the top left; Choose "New Process"; In there type cmd for a Command Prompt; In the (black) Command prompt type : control appwiz.cpl [enter]
If all is right you see the W7Shell program (with a Name I don't know) at the top when you sort this Programs and Features on Date Installed. Rightclick it and choose Uninstall (Remove).
Best regards,
Arvind

Hi Peter,
You're correct I did miss out the part of not switching to W7 shell
I also haven't created a restore point, which would have automatically happened if I had min the OS.
The good part is that ctrl+shift+esc brings up task manager.
So what would be the next step?
Best regards,
Arvind
