Hello Peter,

Understood (I think), obviously I was missing something: the larger OS on the SDD.
The truth is that I I never thought about the possibility/necessity/convenience of make the space for the OS larger. I made it of 11,4 GB and the system tells me that I have only 821 MB free.
I simply thought it was better not to make it too big considering the available RAM.
The OS load quite faster, but I only had in mind have a copy because although I was taking notes when I did the original disk I am not sure I can reply the whole process succesfully swoon.

Thank you very much!

Hello Peter,

Since my RAM OS was in an old recycled HDD I decided make a backup copy in an SDD just looking to the  future because rigth now I only have 16 GB RAM. Once copied I tried it just to verify that it was OK but for my surprise  all run flawlessly with only 16GB.
Am I wrong or it was supposed that you need 32GB RAM to use the RAM OS on SSD? scratching. Of course you have checked, my RAM OS is sui generis and probably  I am missing  something, but I would like to let you know because there maybe someone who doesn't purchase an SSD RAM OS just because not enough RAM.

Best Regards

Maxi

PS. BTW the sound with the last settings is the best i've ever had.

Thank you for your explanation!

one of us can have the absolute phase inverted (which easily can be me).

When you drive your car into the highway and all the other cars come in front of you chances are that you took the wrong direction.  So Iīm afraid that is me. wacko

For the moment I am playing with phase inverted and everything is fine!

Thank you!

Maxi, you mean the effect of Inverted Phase was not to noticable ?

Peter, in any case much less obvious than with the latest adjustments.

Hi Peter,

the effect with previous settings was hardly noticeable ( I try Invert Phase from time to time. For me is some kind of panic button )  blush1

Hello Peter,

Is it possible that the new settings provoke an inversion in phase? I ask you because after try them I perceived an unpleasant and very thin sound. After press invert phase things seem to have returned to normal. BTW the sound is very promising although more time is needed.
I remember having troubles with Phase Alignment and you suggested at that time I had something inverting phase in my chain but never found where.

Happy New Year!

In my case better with Custom filters than ArcPrediction.

I must rectify: Better with Peter's settings!   Shocked swoon

Others have already said it better than I could have said: better than ever.
The finesse of which I spoke in my previous post is even greater.
And this bearing in mind that I am still struggling with Xtweaks and timers in my spurious RAM OS.
In my case better with Custom filters than ArcPrediction.

Thank you, Peter.  thankyou

Hello,

While waiting for the new version I have been listening with SFS at 6,19 for the last week. I don't know if a difference of one point with 5,16 can be significative but I've found some kind of finesse truly addictive. Let's see   drool

Maxi

PS. Lowering SFS allows me increasing the Qx factor from x15 to x40 again.  SFS at 20,19 ate the end of last tracks.

Tried 10.19 but back to 20.19.

Me too. Probably the tubes in the chain soften in some way the highs but with 10.19 I perceive  less spark.

Hello Peter,

I don't get that error. I think is map related. The entrance created in the program menu points to an error 15: file not found. So I have to change second 0 to 1 in order to boot the OS. There is a discordance there and all the things I've tried donīt work.
But, anyway, it's OK like that, because sincerely, I never thought I would get so far.  I'm not a fool, I'm an aeroplane

Thank you

Hello again  hel-loo

I don't want to mess around more. stop

Did I want to cheat myself?     F*cking Windows ! ....Some things fixed (others not):

  - Atach, detach and "copy settings to" working now.
  - Menu interoperativity working on BASE disk (but not in RAM)  scratching
  - Timer settings working in BASE disk (but not in RAM)  dntknw

...and my signature, whose absence I had not noticed. swoon

Regards,

Maxi
