Hi Paul,
One of my most favorite bands. I've seen them several times in the Netherlands. Last year in the "Boerderij" Zoetermeer. They are from the Canturbury music scene. A lot of very good bands!

Best regards

Johan

22  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: XTweaks : Balanced Load Question on: October 30, 2016, 10:57:45 am
Hi Peter,
I noticed this 100 balanced load resetting too.

Another thing i see in the picture is the scalability 'problem'. Not all characters are shown 100%. I have try to solve this via the scale setting (1,50) without succes so far. Any suggestions?

23  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: Title Bar text colour on: October 09, 2016, 03:50:24 pm
I'm reading the monitor from a distance of 80-90 cm. I can read all text without eyeglasses from XXHE and windows from that distance, except the red title bar text.

Yes even on the iPad I can't read it in 1 or 2 seconds. It cost me some concentration to read it.

Ok i'll give up.

Best regards johan

Hi Peter,

It must be colour blindness!....no seriously nothing wrong with my eyes.
I asked the family if they can read the text on the monitor and ipad. Hardly to read.
Suggestion make the not activated colour the active / activated colour.

25  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Title Bar text colour on: October 08, 2016, 11:49:37 pm
Hi Peter,
I have some trouble to read the text on the Red Titel Bar on my monitor. Please can you change that colour to get a more readable text? Sometimes the text is very short white. Pressing the stop button changes it back to red.

26  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: RAM-OS: message "info:total sectors calculated from partition...." on: October 08, 2016, 11:20:36 pm
This is what you mean with your unboxing ram-os disk instruction: "Notice that a bit depending on your PC it can take 3 minutes for the boot accomplishes"

27  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / RAM-OS: message "info:total sectors calculated from partition...." on: October 08, 2016, 02:10:13 pm
Hi Peter,
I'm now working with ram os disc. From the start working with the ram-os, i get a message during booting " info: totalsectors calculated from partition table (51199155) is less number of sectors in the whole disk image (51200001).

Probed C/H/S = 3187/255/63. Probed total sectors = 51199155
[24792M/25000M]

When the last numbers are equal the following short message:
filesystem type is ntfs, partition type 0x07
Will boot NTLDR from drive=0x88, partition=0x0(hidden sectors=0x800)

Windows starting and all is functioning ok. I have this message from the start working with the ram os disk. I have internal 32 GB RAM, so i expand the RAM OS Disk partition hoping to get rid of this message. No effect on the message.

Any suggestions?

Regards Johan

Pm so far i can judge all sounds good. I have to fix my tube amp.
28  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Unboxing the ram OS disc...eh..grrr...think....read.... on: August 19, 2016, 02:31:43 pm
Hi Peter,
A long time ago(i think january 2016) i've bought the ram os disc from you. But i never start the installation proces for different reasons. Several times i started to read the heavy manual. After some new releases/updates for the ram disc OS, is there a handy method to get it operate. Or do i have to follow all the steps in release / time order?

Are the tutorials for the ramdisk OS still actual and compleet?

To small other questions:
During all the discussions on the forum about the RAM disc os i have the impression that i need an grafic card or am i wrong? I'm using the graphic card on the motherboard.
On the motherboard I have 32MB of ram. Is that a problem for the ram OS disk. I have red your instructions to increment the ram usage for the ram OS. I suppose that i can increment that at a later moment?

Best regard,

johan

29  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / RAM-OS disk: need advice for external cabinet to house the disk on: July 20, 2016, 12:16:41 am
Hi Peter,

After i bought the ram-os disk i had a lot of problems with tube amplifiers, computers, external cabinets,....so i did't use the ram-os disk. So i don't know if its the good time(summer)/ temperature (30 degrees)to start to make it working, but i want to make it working now. I have some trouble to find an external cabinet switchable for the 2,5" drive. I'm using a audiorack so i cannot use an build in hot swap bay. Am i correct that your advice is to use esata instead of using usb3?

Can i expect some trouble with the experation of win10 build10565 on july 29th when i have the ram-os disk not functioning at that time?

I hope someone has some suggestions for the external switchable cabinet for the ram-os disk.

Thanks!

Johan
30  Ultimate Audio Playback / Phasure NOS1 DAC / Re: The cheapest upgrade : B'ASS on: May 25, 2016, 06:41:51 pm
Hi Peter,

Your b'ass design looks great. There are a lot of developments. I've red recently a very good review of an headphone amp Microzotl (1 watt) also usable for speakers with a high sensitivity. I'm using 99dbm speakers. Any change your design gets speaker terminals to connect them direct to the speakers? I'm no headphone fan. I'm very interested in the product. (Ps: How cheap is cheap?)

Regards johan
