DR (Dynamic Range) Database, which provides dynamic range numbers for tracks/albums through a Foobar plugin.
Hi Peter,
Last week i found for the first time this Dynamic Range information on www. What do you think about adopting this DR-meter / functionality in XXHE?

153  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / 09z-7-5 message changeWP on: October 17, 2012, 05:31:14 pm
Hi Peter,
When i start playback i sometimes get the following message : changeWP: error setting the wallpaper: A generic error occurred in GDI+. Music plays ok.
What is the reason of this message?
Regards johan

No more cracks when changing volume or at stop.
I set the parameters to suppres the cracks to there default value. After a stop i clearly hear one or two cracks before it stopped. So i changed the parameters to the old values.

What is the latency (ms) in the Driver Control Panel ?
I tested this with 4ms, so it is here where the difference must be ...
The latency shows 4ms.
I have the impression when i abort playback i got the loop. When i play until the end in unattended playback the wallpaper remains at the end and xxhe won't go to its innitial state. Phasure USB audio control panel isn't active anymore. XXHE won't start anymore. I need to remove the audio engine from the memory to start XXHE again.

Can not verify it at this moment. I'll inform you this afternoon.

SFS 12 is the lowest workable value for me!
159  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: XXHighEnd-09-z7.4 Stop issue on: September 27, 2012, 09:41:19 am
It's all in my profile : ......Q1=14 /  Q1Factor = 1 (Dev.Buffer = 4096) / ClockRes = 15ms / Straight Contiguous / SFS = 12 /.......

- you are completely right. With an SFS under 8 it "loops" at the end.
Same loping effect here with a SFS =12/12
161  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: Minimized Mode for 09-z7-3 on: September 23, 2012, 09:41:06 pm
I always thought to recognize a minimized mode via this specific button. But after all this discussions i know that this button only indicates a specific state but tells you nothing about the real mode. How do I recognize a real minimized mode? Most services are stopped i think! I have changed the system setting for maximum performance so the buttons and screens in Windows 7 are all simplified in graphics.
162  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / 09z-7-3: Selecting albums on date via D-button on: September 23, 2012, 09:28:06 pm
Hi Peter,
Every week i add new albums to the Gallerie on the c-drive a SSD. I often use the D-button to make a selection from a specific date ie to select all albums from the last month. The albums are on the F: drive. When i start the search via the D-button, i clearly hear the F: drive. I was expecting the c: drive. Is that right? Is it not more logical to do the search on c: the sollid state in the Gallerie? Much faster. You need the tracks after selecting the album!

thank you, the problem is solved by going back to a restore point and starting all over with 0.9-z7-3.
Excuse me, but that's no solution! It's wrong when a application needs restore point.

After a new activation all works ok! Inclusive the red border around the wallpaper. Thanks for the great job you did with the release of 7!
