With 0.9z-5, my Q1 setting keeps on defaulting back to 14 whenever I start XX.....
I have changed two times the Q1 value back from 14 to a lower value in version 09z-5-2. I had the impression that the save-setting didn't work not always works correctly but at this moment it seems to be working. A friend of me told me yesterday the same findings with this Q1.

From  the post "RDP and XXHE aren’t compatible on my Win 7 PC"
......So I wondered, if you can test something for me ... It must be in this exact sequence though ...

0. Do NOT have the RDC (RDP) connection (not even once after a reboot).
1. Set the Appointment scheme in XXHighEnd to what you like (preferrably the Scheme you used before when all didn't work);
2. Be prepared for Unattended, but set Stop Services Not active, and Show Wallpaper also Not active (this will give you access to the deskptop lateron - see below).
3. Click Play.
4. Establish the RDC connection. Notice that maybe already now you can't get it to work. In that case here it stops, but let me know.

When I try to establish a RDC connection (step 4) with iTap from the iPad I get the message "The server denied to logon with reason 3489660976"

The normal situation first. Could be via VNC.

Why do you call this the normal situation?

Does it work with a normal RDC client (a normal other PC) ?

I succeeded with the XP machine to realise a Remote Desktop Connection with the same result as the iPad. I can start an application on the host and close and reopen this session. But when I start XXHE and I closed the session I cannot reopen this session. No response on this XP machine. The system need a restart to let the RDC work again.

I have some trouble to get it working on a Vista and a XP machine. For the ipad2 it was working within a minute! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Do away with the 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 numbers and just have the markers present. The markers for the 1/4 and 3/4 can be a little shorter than the one for 1/2.

I don't know what you mean with the 1/4 , 1/2 ...., but I hope we keep the indication in unattended mode the track and total track indication. I'am still using the 8" screen. I soon hope to use the 10" (iPad).
217  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Remote Desktop connection with iPad on: June 19, 2011, 04:46:46 pm
Hi Peter,
I think you don't like my question about making a remote connection to take over a HTPC Windows 7 machine to controle XXHE from a lazy chair in a WiFi network. But ill give it a try.
I have done some tests with three RDP programs on my iPad : RDP iTAP, 2X Client and RDP Lite. All RDP's give the same problems after i have start XXHE. When I have the controle of the Host I'm loosing the connection after I have start XXHE. When I try to logon again I get an error. "The server denied to logon ...." When I reboot the Host and make a new connection and I start other programs all works ok. I can close and reopen the session succesfully with an active program. But when I do the same after I have start XXHE I am not able to close and reopen the session. I have disabled all the services settings in XXHE but that doesn't make any difference. Any suggestions to make the Remote Desktop connection with the iPad succesfull?

When i add new tracks i change the path (via library button) to the drive containing the last added rips (F:\). With the right button i add the tracks to the Gallary.

Recently I had in version 09z-5 the message "XXHighend has stopped working" when I add a new cd to the gallerie. In version 09z-4-1 I had this error more frequently. I have made a screenshot of it (See attachment). You can see that the left pane has a path where the files came from (F:\). Can that be the cause...????? I have test it once but no error message.

PS I allway see the background colour of the first part of the cd's in the mid pane in the white colour, when i start XXHE. Can you fix this? Scrolling further and back then all is ok. (see attachment)

If that doesn't work, sorry,.....
Nothing happens after the SET command with the old reference album. Still warnings.

There seems to be something wrong with "Setting" the Reference Album for Volume Normalization. It is not clear at this moment how or what, but be anticipated upon errors popping up throughout the process of Setting, and maybe even during playback after that. It should be so that if you denote a before Set Reference Album and click "Set", it looks like not working, but in the end it does (during Playback).
Hi Peter,

I did red your release notes about normalisation 'problems', but i am not sure it's working correct I get a some messages. In 09z-4-1 it was working ok.
There is no progression indicator after the set command.
I have the impression nothing happens with the set command.
When i activate the Normalisation button, i get some warning and a -144 value in the display. Afther a play command i get some more warnings.

... you just shouldn't do it like that.
I installed it in a new directory, but its now running in demo mode. What file(s) do i need to copy in this directory to run in undemo-ed mode?

you have "strange habits" in upgrading to a new version. You mix up folders with old and new XX files.
I just installed it in the folder 9z-4-0. My first impression after the installation was that it finished the installation very fast. Perhaps something went wrong. I will check it. But i'm running 09z-4-1!
