a. What RAMDisk software do you use ?
b. How do you format it ? (I do not at all at first, but format it explicitly in "Manage" with all default settings, plus I assign a driver letter which I next use).
c. Do you use the RAMDisk beyond the OS' official memory limit ?

a. Dataram Ramdisk
b. When i look to the properties of RAMDISK i see FAT32
c. I think not. How do get it beyond the OS official memory limit?

what is your XX Drive EXACTLY ?
RAMDISK E:\XXHighEnd_Current 09z-4-0\
I have test it without RAMDISK then it plays this tilde track again! Is it RAMDISK related?

When you do not "Copy to XX Drive" this one most probably works.
....yes it works!

Is this still not working for you in 0.9z-4 ?
Now I get the following error in 0.9z-4-0 :
name of the messagebox: "Find Converted Files"
message: "No Tracks found to play, please check for disk full"
The next tracks are playing ok.

Do other tracks with diacritical marks in them (within the first 7 positions !) still work for you ? If not, I guess it worked before, and so ... what Windows version do you use here ?
I have test another track with the tilde and the same message apears.

I am using Win 7 Enterprise SP1 (see signature!)

*SFS=1,0* @ *SFS.ini = 00*

Ho Peter,

First congratulations with the release of NOS1 DAC.

Is the SFS=1,0 a new parameter in release 09z-4? When do you release this version? Any chance you develope in 2011 a small budget DAC, the NOS2 (H=> I or T)?

Regards Johan
249  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Wishlist: <favorite tracks> - button on: November 12, 2010, 10:49:41 pm
Hi Peter,

There are always some tracks on an album I don't like. Is it possible to introduce a button <Favorite tracks> ? After loading an album from the library the tracks are loaded in the middle pane. After deleting some tracks you can store this selection via the <Favorite tracks> - button.

When this button is active and you make a new selection from the library only the favorite tracks are then loaded in the playlist.

I know in the past you could save a playlist by typing the name. I don't like this method.

What do you think about this <Favorite tracks> - button?

1. Go to the Library Area. At the bottom fill in the path to the new albums.
Note that everything you fill in there, will not be shown later at retrieval, thus, g:\wav\JZHolidyAquisitions\ is what you don't want to show (and copy to the Library !)
2. Now press Search, and all the albums in there will show. There can be more than the newly (16) added.
3. Next, browse through the result, and select (ctrl-click etc.) all the albums you want to add to one Library.
4. Then, right-click and and from there put them in the Library you want.

This is still the method i use to put the records in the Gallary. In version 09z-3 I get a message "XXHighEnd has stopped working" after the message 1 album added to the Gallary. The result no album added to the Gallary. I have noticed that when you changed the path(step 1), this structure will be shown in the left pane. Thats new in 09z-3. I had the impression it was alway the Gallary path. I have the feeling it doesn't work 100%.

252  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: Titles that contain ASCII - extened chars do not play in XXHightEnd on: November 07, 2010, 02:43:04 pm
So :

- File Type (I will see that of course); Wav
- Copy to XX Drive Y/N; Y
- Attended/Unattended; does not make any differance (I always play unattended)
- Do no start at all Y/N; N
- Start during conversion Y/N; N
- Send me this track.....; Later

I have test 09z-3 and 09z-2 in RAMDISK both they give the same message. When I start 09z-3 outside RAMDISK it plays this track!!?!!!!

the same as the polish/greek/etc. input name). So ...  ... solved for the next version (probably 0.9z-3a).
Does it solve also the error "Music file does not exist" for this wav file? When do You release this version?
