in this version 09x-6b the DAC test does not start! Only the USB DAC test works. See attachment

It makes no difference! No Sound, DAC test for the soundcard faills.

I did the dac test in 09x-5b for the soundcard

After connecting my USB DDDAC to the PC and selecting in settings "Output" to Luidspreker(USB) then there is sound. Switching back to my internal soundcard then i have no sound. Back to 09x-5b all working ok with this soundcard (all +/- 40 versions of XXHE i had this soundcard working ok).

Me again......

Switching to engine 2 XXHE is working with sound. Switching back to engine 3 gives the situation without sound. After a play command i get new error messages. I'll hope this give a clue? See attachments.

I can't find in this version of XXHE the X3 log files in the temp dir. Only XX files!

No effect.


I stay on version 09x-5b........ thanks a lot XXHE. For me it's a very good player. 

I have done the test again with SUPERSISTER and the same results.

XX09x-5b is running very stable, very good sound, without errors. I bought this PC special for XXHighEnd. I had also soundproblems in 09x-5 and i was not the only one.....

Same situation after a new installation.

no sound, progression indicator stays on the start position after a play command! (sorry i didn't tell that before)

I am already happy with a rip function in XXHE that do the work in 10 minutes! 

09x-5b. I have tested it in attended and unattended mode.

When playing music in unattended mode I don't see any trace (no wallpaper) of XXHE on the 8" LCD screen. The only thing I see is the background of Vista.

After installing 09x-5b again, using the same settings, all is working again! Music, Wallpaper,.

After installing 09x-6a I have the following problems:

no sound
playing in unattended mode only Vista background

Also in version 09x-5b i don't need Alt-X.

........back again on 09x-5a with sound...so far.

First impression: is it possible that it sounds better than 09x-5? I've compared 09x-5 with 09v-7. In 09v-7 all the small detaills draw your attention. It give's a bigger involvement i think. More impact of the cymbals... The first soundwise impression of 09x-5a is good.

Again during sound comparison, i lost sound in 09x-5.
I deleted in Vista Sound the option Luidsprekers (QVE for Prodigy HD2 (WDM)) See attachment. Restart the system and again no sound. Did the DACtest again. Surprise...the output is now (SPDIF) (Prodigy HD2). For me its the end of 09x-5. Back to the privious version.

In the settings area you can see Output Luidsprekers(Prodigy HD2). Something in the backgroud has changed this setting to Luidsprekers (QVE for Prodigy HD2 (WDM)).

After a reset the sound i back again. see dactest results

After some listenings sessions with restarts of XXHE the start-button is disappeared.........and.......back again...
