I am fairly sure this particular error is solved in the 0.9x-2a from a few posts back.
Indeed i have test Bugge Wesseltoft and Bobo Stenson. Both are played without the Argument OutOfRange Exception error (so far). Congratulations! You did solved something, but what caused it?

Quote
.....because I needed the Played.dat (not the !Played.plxx you sent). Played.dat is probably hidden in your XX folder.
Can't find Played.dat in the XX directory.

Now I don't know what it means for the errors following this error. If all is right they are not there anymore as well.
I have seen one new error. When i start XX again during unattended playback and i change something in the settings, i get a "Reorganize Proxy" message.
Music starts playing again and when i accept the message i am back in unattended mode.

What I'd like is the situation from when things at first go wrong. So, this is not at the next startup I think, but earlier (??). If only at startup things go wrong for the first time, then that of course.
I hope it is clear !

...first go wrong... dntknw.not at the next startup.dntknw.....

After playing the last track of Bugge Wesseltoft unattended the error is generated. See attachments.

I have the impression that i don't have this error in attended mode.

all testing in 09x-2

... But do you perhaps really have some remote control going ? if so, please let me know how and what. I have a hard time on that one ...

I have done some testing with IR2Keyboard (freeware) remote control translator. You can find it here http://www.fast351.com/hometheater/htpc/
Via the remote-controle i started XX two times......!?!?!?!!! And when i minimize IR2Keyboard id won't accept commands anymore.

From the developer:
The utility connects to the IRTrans server, and takes the incoming infrared remote control presses and and translates them into keyboard commands. IR2Keyboard can translate any remote control command and target it to any application, using any keyboard press!

After some testing i have the impression that this error is not related to the use of the d button! This error continues to be in earlier mentioned CD's: Bugge Wesseltoft and Bobo Stenson. It is reproducible! But i can't see what's wrong here.  Perhaps a Scandinavian problem? What i will do is removing these cd's from the Gallary and add them again and looks what happens during playback.

.....but you should not worry about the files being there. But don't throw them away.

In a attemp to solve this error i have deleted this .GLXX file in the directory Bugge Wesseltoft , what now?
425  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: Argument OutOfRange Exception error in version 09v+x on: February 09, 2009, 07:23:34 pm
Today same error.

This time a crash on Bobo Stenson (Swedish pianist/composer). When i look at the harddisk in the bobo Stenson directory i find the next file:
x-Reference D{{}}Galeries}}Jazz}}-GalleryAlbum.GLXX where did it came from ???

I think this Argument OutOfRange Error is 'd'-button related.

Next period i will test XX without using the 'd'-button!

See the log file!
427  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: Argument OutOfRange Exception error in version 09v+x on: February 08, 2009, 02:38:26 pm
Today i had the same error again:

5 XX plays in unattended mode
6 The last track is finished
7 In front of the wallpaper i see this error message
8 XX ends with the Wallpaper and don't switched back
9 I cannot start XX again without this error.
10 Stopping XXHighEnd.exe task
11 Deleting Played.dat and A!Current.....PLXX
12 Restart XX
13 Selecting Bugge Wesseltoft again gives another error message
14 Stopping XX and starting XX all works OK

see attachments

Although such a "feature" () is obvious, do you yourself (!) have any special reason to want this ?
In case you could not show all the tracks on the screen, i prefer the 'old' wallpaper.

Quote
I thought about it (and it can be done really) but I see no gain in it. Your picture wouldn't be larger because of it anyway ... (well, not substantially).
Make it user selectable previous wallpaper or the new one with the back of the CD. Its only a problem for the 8" LCD users. And when you show the old Wallpaper please show the maximum tracks ..........and the artistname.

....... tell me, what would you think of scaling the font smaller when one uses a small monitor ? too me it doesn't look like a good solution because of visibility.
The fontsize could be a lot smaller and starting one line higher.
Make the font and - size selectable i.e. 6 - 10
make the "Back of the CD" optional

Quote
the 4/10 can be done anyway, but it is only little informative  .
In unattende mode i always want to know how many tracks to go

Hi Peter,

Quote
Issue left : Unlike within XXHighEnd itself, lacking track numbers are not shown. This is for later to solve.
Similarly, the running track times are not shown. Also for later.

I am still using an 8" LCD screen. I have a problem when there more then e.g. 10 tracks. See attachment.
Can you solve this for the 8" LCD users?

See suggestions in picture http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=344.0 maximum track indicator.
431  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Argument OutOfRange Exception error in version 09v+x on: February 06, 2009, 06:49:27 pm
Hi Peter,

In the period i had the OutOfMemoryException error there was another error called Argument OutOfRange Exception. When i have this error then there is the loop again. XX won't start again without this error.

Quote
When you can't get out of the loop, you can try to delete !Played.dat from your XX folder. It can't harm to delete this.
A !CurrentlyPlaying.PLXX could also be a cause. You can delete that too (at emergencies).

Deleting Played.dat and A!Current.....PLXX files solves this error/loop.

What i did:
1 Selecting in the library area the 'd'-button and pick a date from/to
2 Double click in the library area to select an Album
3 Tracks are direct loaded in the playlist
4 Selecting the play button
5 XX plays in unattended mode
6 sometimes i get this error (not allway's and not sure if it is in the last track)
7 Music keeps playing (not shure)
8 XX ends with the Wallpaper and do'nt switched back
9 I cannot start XX again without this error.

I have the idea it is related to the album selection with the 'd'-button. When you close XX this last selection will be memorized by XX. I use this function to play music of a certain period.

How to test whether the Hot Keys work as intended ?

- Quit XXHighEnd;
- Use Alt-x.

XXHighEnd should come up now.

Gives the following message:

If you know about more examples (or just can create them), please let me know.

I like Scandinavian Jazz music so here is another one:

Great that there will be a update of XX

Again this evening an "Out Of Memory Exception error" during unattended playback.

Looking at the Favorite.txt file gives a problem with Nils Petter
