Adding Nils Petter to the Galary has the following effect in favorites.txt:

As you can see Molvaer becomes stranger and stranger.....

Again an Out of Memory Exception error! This time in version 09w-9b.


What i did:
1 Double click in the library area to select an Album
2 Tracks are direct loaded in the playlist
3 Selecting the play button
4 XX plays in unattended mode
5 After some tracks i get this error.
6 Music keeps playing
7 XX ends with the Wallpaper and do'nt switched back
8 I cannot start XX again.

Deleting the suggested files did not help but deleting favorites.txt helps. I noticed that several times this favorite file is 369.3xx kB big.
How do i influence the size of this file? Has it something to do with this error message?

Almost every day now i have this OutOfMemoryException error again during unattended playback in version 09-w8 . Deleting the favorite.text file doesn't help anymore. Starting XX gives this error again.

XXengine3.exe is still active in the taskmanager

I need to reinstall XX again in a new directory. I hope you have a solution for me PLEASE!

I have some wishes for XX.

• Showing Artist name and maximum tracks in wallpaper (unattended playback). This is an old request see www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=344.0 
• to play favorite tracks via library area.  Selecting an album in the library area, gives you all the tracks with tickboxes in the playlist. Default all tickboxes checked. See attachment (detaill from itunes). Changes are stored in the galary. I like this method more than typing a playlist name.

It's the same error. I had the idea that it was caused by starting two different versions of XX at the same time. But i'll think this is not what caused it.


How do i click a favorite link? Do you mean selecting a record in the Library area?

During playback in version 09w-5 i have got a OutOfMemoryException error. After this error XX don't start anymore. Everytime when i start XX it gives this error. Even after a system reboot. Deleting Favorites.txt solves the problem. What caused this problem?

I know what causes this problem. When you give a pause command during playback and you give a clear command to prepare a load of a new record, the progression indicator remains in that old position. Loading a new record wil start at that position. Solution: When you want to quit you need to give a stop after a pause command. Or XX need a small change, after the clear command (and a load command) the progression indicator needs to be automaticaly reset. Or am i wrong.....

Yesterday i had the same errors again. I suppose i start another version of XX during playback of XX. After deleting the Favorites.txt and the XXDat0001.dao files I get rid of the errors and XX works again.

On the Quick Launch bar I always have two or more icons of the different versions of XX for testing purposes. Sometimes I make a mistake instead of stopping one version of XX I'll start another one. The second one can controle the first one, but…… I think that this causes the problem!?!

I have listened today to the following versions of XX v6a, v7, w1, w3..... and still I am a great fan of v7.

The harddisks are connected via e-sate to the PC. At the end of a track i hear the clicking sound of the harddisks loading a new track. In the last version of XX 09w-3 the music is not alway capless anymore.
Changing in the Settings Area the parameter "Split file at size (MB)" to 20MB, then most of the tracks are interrupted one or two seconds. When I changed it back to 2500MB then sometimes i can hear a break of a second, while expecting capless playback between the two tracks. When I checked the 'Mem' tickbox then i have the impression that i have capless playback.

Hi Peter,

After some hours of playing XXHighEnd, i have the impression when playing a new record that the music not starts at the beginning of a track but a few seconds later........ All in unattended mode. Closing XX and starting again then it seems to work for some time ok.

Hi Peter,

After the release of XX09v-7, i changed some settings back  Playerprio=Low and Threadprio =Realtime. After some days of errorless listening i was very impressed by the soudquality. Back are the small detaills which draw my attention. Was it this version or the priority setting or both?

Some days ago after a start of XX i have got the a Memory Exception error. I could not reset this error. After switching XX off i got the next error "System IO Exception. When i start XX again it gives me the first error again. The solution was to install XX in a new folder.

Some days later i have got the spooler error (also in versio 09w-1a) from the past and a show coverart message.

Shall i upgrade from Vista Prof to Ultimate?
