LOL, you think that's high? If you had 70-80 degrees, then you could worry about temperature. Intel can operate with temperatatures up to 95 degrees.
92  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / 0.9z-3 HDCD playback on: November 06, 2010, 10:29:32 am
Hi Peter,

0.9z-3 has a problem with HDCD albums, or at least with particular one album. The playback stops after 1 or 2 tracks and brings back the window of XXHE. I have to hit play on every single track, this is very annoying. Any ideas? There are no errors.

Cheers,
Marcin

Peter, are you familiar with that? Could it be of any use with XXHE?

Greets,
Marcin

Hi,

Try experimenting with buffer sizes and Q1 parameter. Although I would stay with KS, it's much better. (IMHO)

Peter, what is your advice on Overlapped IO support? Should I use it with XXHE?

It's fine now I prefer high SFS values. dCS sounds like cr*p compared to my Cantatis, haha

Yes, I see it and there's exactly what I quoted before. And I know that it works, because I'm using it right now on a 32bit OS. Do I have to make a screenshot or what?"  heat

No, it's not limited to 4GB and you don't need 64bit OS in order to use memory above 4GB (PAE enabled)

Ramdisk size can be up to 2048TB.

I noticed sth strange again, if I set the SFS size to 200MB, then the Engine3 is on CPU1, as it should be. I went back to 12MB and it's on CPU0 and CPU1 again.

Yes, I can do this manually, but it's very annoying...

Here's how it looks. Maybe if I switch between different Schemes...

My attempt to enable memory above 4GB in Ramdisk (dataram) failed, I get a lot of BSODs, so gave up, but I tried different software, according to performance comparison that I found - the best. It's VSuite Ramdisk server edition. Not only I can use 8GB of RAM (4GB for Ramdisk) on 32bit OS, but I'm sure it improved SQ over Dataram Ramdisk.
