Check this out, mouse and remote.

AIRMOUSE

Didn't know this was already on market.
Execute pre-programmed commands by movement.

Roy

Quote:

Gesture Commands: Gesture-based commands add a new level of sophistication to the MX Air mouse. By recognizing defined patterns of movement, or gestures, MX Air enables people to perform commands by simply moving the mouse in a specified way. For example, to change the volume, people need only press and hold the volume button and gesture – to the right to increase volume, or to the left to decrease it. For music applications, holding the Play/Pause button and making a small circular motion to the right activates the skip track command, while a circle to the left repeats the song. Using Logitech® SetPoint™ software, people can choose from additional gesture commands, including Air Zoom, Launch MenuCast™ and Recenter the cursor.

Nice find Roy.

I've always found Logitech products to be reliable and they are a very innovative company. All my PC's have Logitech mice and keyboards. My music server uses the spare mouse buttons to start XXHE ( right push on scroll wheel ) and to select the next track via the right 'NEXT' button.

This AIRMOUSE may be just what we've been looking for.

I'll expect a full review in a week after you have bought one  Grin

Cheers,

Russ

Yep,

But the big Q is: will the software be programmable and workable for our needs.
 Happy

Or with other words can it do Macro's
