Honestly, this is how I started to get interested in other means of transport ... yes It originates from 2003 or so, streaming music channels from digital satellite (from the radio channels from the TV dish).

For now, let's say you're not crazy, hence you could just be right. But let's be careful, in your situation.
Be warned ... the subject is somewhat larger.

Questions :

Can you play movies, preferrably via the PC (but otherwise use an AVR or something) ?
If you really sit down for it, does this sound rather well (if not better) to you, compared to XX ?

*After* you have tested this (or if you already know the answer !), can you try some good MP3's ?
Please don't answer this MP3 question by heart. Just try it one of these days ...

I Peter, yesterday i did some tests.... and my conclusion is that xx e very near from what a ear when streaming from web.
the only thing i ear different is my main problem of the treble extension....i think the xx treble is a bit loud, my sensation is that creates earing fatigue(i´m using engine3 wasapi) but the sound is almost there....
maybe with a usb/spdif converter i can use engine4 and maybe the sound is more accurate... Happy
