Hi,

I tried invert Phase setting. With some tracks i get a crack detect message. But when i disable it it plays ok. I mention when i lower the volume slider by 3dB in xxHighend everything plays ok also with Invert Phase on. So i tried to disable Crack detect. When i do that these songs play but i get distortion at bass parts and also the tweeter give some distortion. So i quicky turn the music off.

Why rise the Inverse Phase option the overall output and is the sound clipping sometimes? I read already something on the xxhe forum about that invert Phase can give the music more punch. But how is that option make the output signal clipping?

Martijn, hi there.

The short answer is : it shouldn't make a difference. The longner answer (as short Happy) : if this distorts or makes the message "Crack Detect" appear, something is wrong (and I mean in the program).
This is complicated and I won't even start to explain. But if you didn't make any "errors" yourself, I would love to receive the track concerned from you. Please FileMail it (etc.) to Sales at blahlblah. Maybe it is good to tell me at how many seconds into the track things go wrong.

Thank you very much !

I guess you can send it, but I can't see it yet.

Open PM is one, but you sent two allright. Problem here is that I live by the day, and with some problems in between I can't promise anything for (ready) dates, because here too (see other topic) first things really come first.

Btw, the data you nicely dug op for yourself (PM) I should have done for you of course. swoon
