For the next version I made a facility I have been wanting for a long time for myself, and this registers all the SQ related settings for an album or track that is put to a Gallery. So envision you use an Alt-z to put a nice sounding track to the Demo Gallery and now all the SQ related settings will be stored in a file for later retrieval. Why ?

Because it happens all so often that a previously well sounding track "today" sounds like sh*t and I want to know why. Below you see a screenshot of such a retrieval with most of those settings (a few more don't fit the screen).

The data is stored per Operating System and XXHighEnd version in use at the time of when the Alt-z (etc. !) was applied and can be retrieved per the combination you like. So for example, the data may show you that back in 2012 the track (album) was obtained in the Gallery concerned, but this was with Windows 7 and XX version 0.9z-7-3.
There is more to say about this, but what I started this topic for is :

I'm a bit shocked that so many Settings are there which all influence SQ and which by now for me (and I guess many of the others who use XXHighEnd for a longer time) goes unnoticed. So most Settings -ever dialled in and which has become your standard- you never look at again. But still these are there and still they do something to SQ.

This is a great idea, I step in the trap that I think I've reproduced settings while I don't all the time!

Maybe add a copy of the BIOS settings  Wink?!

Audio PC (jan 19): XXHE PC v1 with RAMdisk w.o. videocard and 1 of 2 cpu fans + BRIX/USB3 storage musicserver. ETN to Fibre converters (linear supplies), 500m SFP modules & 5m OM4 cable. Power cable PE not connected, together with nos1 and poweramp in separate "audio" powerstrip.
