I encounter sample rate problems.
In the latest version 200a with drivers 1.03, samplerate switching does not work correctly.
All music files with 96000 and 48000 sound too low, as if played at 88200 and 44100 respectively.

Anyone else encountered this?

The old XXHighEnd works perfectly.
The only other time this happened in the past when using HQPlayer.

Any advice?
What further information should I provide?

Just for my understanding, what are the 1.04 drivers for then?
I am not quite sure I fully understand the release notes.

Hi Michael,

Yes, it is vague.

The 1.04 version is for general usage. Like for HQPlayer etc.
However, it was found at one of the customers that he could not install the UNsigned driver for an unknown reason (with the notice that installing unsigned 64 bits drivers for Windows 8  officially can't work anyway and that some tricks are applied).

So now 2.00-a (and up) supports the old (Signed) driver just as well but which driver thus only communicates with XXHihgENd for the Sample Rate base (clock) change.

Aha..... so now this could be the reason why HQPlayer never really worked perfectly with 1.03 drivers, problems with switching sampling rates.

I will request the new driver from you as well then since I once in a while use HQplayer for my DSD files that are not converted.
