How to manage xxhe in Unattended

I'm probably dumb, but having used XXHE mostly in Attended mode, I dont really know how to control it in unattended.

So, what I'm asking is a list of commands to do the most basic things, i.e.
-stop/play
-pause
-next track

and how to bring back the program interface, and then to send it into oblivion again.

Thanks in advance to anyone who will reply. I plan to do some serious A/B comparisons with Arc predition on

Hi Telstar,

It's just the "Remote Control" commands. But you'd have to install AutoHotkey for it (see Release Notes at the bottom).

After that it's just the keyboard commands like Alt-N for Next, etc. (never mind it's actually meant for Remote Control).

Alt-N   Next Track

Alt-L   Next Album

Alt-V   Previous ( N/A for UNattended )

Alt-A   Set A-B-Nothing point.

Alt-B   Set B point for A-B playback

Note:    Note that all occurs by subsequent clicks, the third setting back to nothing.
   When error messages occur (like setting A and B at the same point) you're kind of lost at Unattended.

Alt-U   Volume Up

Alt-D   Volume Down

Alt-T   Toggle UNattended/attended

Alt-K   Toggle "End after Track"

Alt-B   Toggle Double sampling

Alt-Q   Toggle Quad sampling

Alt-M   Upsample

Alt-I   Invert

Alt-G   Toggle Running Time ( UNattended only ) ( Function must be activated in settings area )

Alt-F   Load Library Item ( UNattended only )

Alt-C   Copy Track to "Nice Stuff" gallery entry

Alt-H   Copy Album to "Nice Stuff" gallery entry

Alt-Z   Copy Track to "Demo" gallery entry

Includes entries for version 0.9y-5

I don't use Invert and thus haven't used that hotkey so I just tried it now. The onscreen timer changed to yellow and back again to red so I guess it did what it was supposed to. I didn't detect any difference, but then again, I never have which is why I don't use it. YMMV though.

The backbone of the Wallpaper album shows an ~ at the top for normal Phase and I for inverted phase.

Thanks for the many replies.

I did some tests and unfortunately i cannot use quad upsampling at the moment due to 96k Console limitation. Besides, cpu % for the crossovers basically doubles from 20 to 40% going to 88.2k. I'm looking for a different PEQ to do the job (I will evaluate Algorytmix).

Still, I noticed is that the 88.2k arc-prediction upsampled sound is even more revealing of source material defects and DAC limitations, to the point that some commercial stuff is disgusting.

Test been done in attended. Unattended has to wait for tomorrow if i get the time (being rather busy with work).

A suggestion: marker for the upsampling, i.e. 4x, 2x, etc?
Also, do you plan to remove the other kinds of upsampling?

Yes, your suggestion for other indicators is good because it it just *is* relevant data. I'm thinking for a longer time about this myself, but I'm a little in doubt where to put it. Note there's much more than only this. So, it can just as well be put anywhere in the OSD area, as the OSD can be made much more slick. Remember, at the time the "Wallpaper" emerged, the OSD stuff wasn't there yet.
