Hi Peter,

Is there a way to keep Wifi alive after XX ends unattented playback?
Otherwise can you make it switchable so i don't need to reboot the system every time to get it back?!

If you want WiFi on on your audio PC

a. you are crazy
b. you will have bad sound
c. up to hickups

So, if you want that in, think about a day of sorting it out. I will round it up to 1000 euro. Special price for you !

Otherwise you could do the same as me (hopefully not in more than 2 days) and sort out which processes etc. it takes to keep running. It's all in the ToolTips, but in my english (sorry).

This is a very legitimate question, and getting the LAN back on would be even more of that (how would you imagine to use WiFi without LAN anyway eh ?). So, this is another story (the LAN), and this will be in at some stage.
Because we now talk about AFTER playback, there's nothing wrong with WiFi as well. It would even be so that supposed you copied files over WiFi and "Copy to XX Drive" would work 100% (which it still does NOT -> your posts from by now ages back -> still not solved), it would be nicely shut down after the job done, and you can play those files.
(I put this in red as per crisnee's example in the other topic, supposing he means something like this, haha).

But still ...
It took me a day to sort out the LAN as a separate thing to NOT shut down, but which is rather different from bringing it up again.
And, and I don't even have WiFi connected to my audio PC, so what to do (yeah, connect it -> no).
So, if you (or anyone) can sort out what it takes to let WiFi running, to next look what it takes to bring it up again, I will build it in.

but

Start with letting the LAN running, because it very well can be that WiFi then keeps on running as well.

I'm afraid you won't know where to begin. Still *I* am not going to do it ...

PS: I guess this first needs the ability to bring up the LAN again, because only then you will be able to judge whether WiFi works by itself (it could). So my advise is to wait for that (don't ask me how long until the next version). At this moment maybe you can tell me whether WiFi keeps on running when the LAN is NOT shut down. Does it ?

All the options are true!

The button of the option is red. I suppose that this means that i keep the LAN alive! Or did you change the colour?

Red means "Active" = "Keep running".

So, LAN runs, but WiFi is dead ? that's what you say ?

Yes! When i select the wifi icon i get the message "Not connected - No connections are available"
