If I press play and want to move the slider to a certain position, the playback jumps to the next track in list and playes somewhere in this track or it jumps to the first track of the list. This can happpen but it also can work normaly. After I made some playlist operations, the slider does not relate to the true trackposition at all. Also the time does not fit to the real track position.

Can it be so that the tracks concerned are a mix of formats ?

Or that it's HDCD ?

Yes, there are different formats. MP3, Flac and wav. I sometimes "work" with xx to create playlists. I used to do it with mediaplayer but it would be nice if I were able to do it with xx. HDCD is not active because I prefere 44khz16bit output.

I am not sure whether this already was in the first 0.9z-5 but I have changed something regarding the selection of tracks. By accident it bothered me two days back, but, I know how to deal with it because I know what's happening in there. Still it's quite annoying. Ok, what is ?

In order to have a track really active you now have to click 3 times on it. Only then the file is really opened hence the disk is woken up. And this is what the changeis for ... not waking up all your disk each time (wait... wait...), while you only clicked the track for another reason.
You can see it happening by looking at the right hand side of the "digital" data in the top-left. That refreshes after the third (normal) click.

But ...
This also actualizes the time bar at the bottom (actually the running time of the track). Now, in combination with that 3-click thing, things don't work out comfortably, and e.g. when you clicked ony once, but reposition the time cursor in the mean time, you're doing that relative to the currently playing (or just played !) track. All strangeness com from that, because you easily can have positioned the cursor at 5:28 while the track you selected in the mean time only is 3:15 long. And then what ?

If you know this all, you can deal with it. But still it is the most inconvenient. It might be better to go back to the wait... wait... situation.
Must think about it.
