Hi Peter. I see from your post on the Computer Audiophile website that you're been working on software DSD to theNOS1. Does that mean that hardware has been finalized(or is close to finalized)? Also, what is your guesstimate as to when DSD hardware and software might be available for the NOS1?

Hi Esau,

This is a bit difficult to answer, because first it is software related, and I don't have that properly going yet. Strange thing : ... because DSD itself looks wrong to me. Yea, laugh.

At this moment I am waiting for some inside information on how to do this really right. If it is inherently right in the first place ...

Hi Peter. It looks like Andreas Koch of Playback Designs is a knowledgeable source for information regarding implementation of DSD software for use with a DAC. The Mac platform is incompatible with DSD and the Windows platform appears to require ASIO. The following link from Blue Coast Records includes a link to Andreas Koch's white paper on DSD. Happy hunting.
