Does the quote above mean that once you've renamed the tss file to tst you do not need the 1.04 driver to play material other than 44.1 after installing 2.00-a? I ask because I thought you only needed the 1.04 version if you wanted to play material other than 44.1 based.

I read it 5 times but I see two the same things, unless the word "based" means something special for the second half.

It is fairly simple : If you want to avoid installing the 1.04 Driver then make sure you have 2.00-a and rename that file.

I'm sure I did not understand the question / pose ...

Thanks. So wouldn't it be simpler to delete all references to the 1.04 driver from the release notes since the 1.04 driver isn't needed anymore?  Happy
