According to earlier information the only difference between paid and eval version is the length of play time.
Are there other differences?  My eval version says many things are disable in this version.  I have also heard from a paid customer that the paid version sounds better than eval version.  Is this true?
Can you provide a list of differences between eval and paid?

Three differences that I know of now.  Used to be just (1) album playing time length, (which varies), but features have been added and they are now also not part of the evaluation. (2) limited to 100 albums listed under Library Tab, and (3) you can't set the "Processor Scheme" under settings tab (how XXHE uses a core 2 duo or quad).

hehe I don't know about SQ; I've been paid up since version D ... way back ... I don't think that's officially made that way if it's true.

That is correct.

but features have been added and they are now also not part of the evaluation.

which is only about mentioned (2) and (3).

My eval version says many things are disable in this version.

Which is most probably because you are using XP hence Engine#1 or #2; most of the features depend on Engine#3 hence Vista ...

SQ difference between the Demo and normal version are unintentional, if there at all. However, the determination of the running version being Demo or not *is* in the (software) playing loop, which can't be avoided because of the applied principles (XXHighEnd being a "memory player") and which largely comes down to "unattended playback" (while checking for Demo keeps on being necessary) which btw is literal with Engine#3 and the Unattended setting. For Engine#1 and Engine#2 there is a much higher chance this is audible, but then the Unattended Playback mode was made for a reason (keep distance from unrelated - though SQ influencing software).

I hope I could make it a bit clear ...

Thanks for the answers guys.  I will listen more.

First/quick impressions:  Bad user interface.  Lacking in features.  Sound Quality is great.  Seems as good or better than anything else I've tried.

Thanks again.
