Hi Peter,
I think this is a great initiative. I've been searching like crazy for some topics and had to dive into previous releases to get a grasp of some functions.
Imho should questions and issues be left to the normal forumchapters and not allowed in this section.

Hi Peter,
that is a really fine and challenging idea! I would go a step further and try to get some people of this forum community involved in the process and open something like a wiki for documentation - it should be moderated of course. Master language could be English but sometimes there is enough energy to get the wiki translated into other languages.

I recalled about that topic already yesterday, but no way I could find it again of course. That happens when things are written "stupidly" in the middle somewhere. From now on I can make a "Guideline" topic of it right away. So Praphan, thanks. You guessed my throughts - and it is in there now. If others happen to know a post which really can go as a "guideline" (after possible more or less adjustment), don't be shy to say so. It could be something that helped *you* a lot, no matter it is a very basic thing. And really, those basic things could be far more important than the "high tech" stuff, because the super duper can only be applied when you have things running in the first place. Peter |

I put a few things in there to show as example (some copy-pasted while the topic involved should just be moved), but as this will (or should) also contain all from the Release Notes, there wil be hundreds of these topics and I am not sure whether this gets out of hand again. Heck, there are already 130 versions of XXHighEnd, all with Release Notes and subjects which should be in the "manual" somewhere. Maybe more sub boards which look like chapters ... Getting Started Coverart Sound Quality Galleries etc.  PS: I yesterday read about things I wrote/showed myself, and even for a million I don't recall that I ever made it. That bad it is. Or that important ... |
