I did not think of your "solution"
only picked up some noise through "the grapewine" about the possibility of someone launching a firewire to I2S module
would suit me fine
in the meantime usb 3.0 is on it´s way
I´ll se when I get back from holiday in jan.

interesting; I seriously considered changing my Trio´s for a similar setup with custom hornloaded double ultra with Orpheans in D´Appolito
less floorspace!
my listening area is of similar volume and I play at about same levels at same distance
I backed out because of little secondhand market for trios and some serious considerations about the modified BMS driver.
I ordered the Buffalo with the I/V stage incl.x-formers and psu s but obviously one could use Borbely´s discreet buffer
however this way I get up testing quicker and can alway develop it further.
by the way, it´s only the usb drivers that prevent the usb interphase from sending hi-rez.couldn´t someone rewrite one for audio use.or else we´ll have to wait for the Buffalo firewire I2S bus or USB 3.0

P:what about getting an English version of Vista; a lot of your "clients" are english-speaking and the forum language is english too.

hello

starting with emty playlist
1)I go to library and locate wanted album on the harddisk
2)I mark the wanted area and click open and the tracka are transported to the playlist
3)I mark the first track and click play button and all is well(after 3-5 seconds)
4)I click next and the cursor moves one step down but the playing does not start!
if I either click nxt once more or play the player starts

same problem with "previous": one move to prev track,cursor goes one step up and nothing happens
one additional click on prev or play(indifferent) and the previous track starts

still haven´t tried unattended

and while you´re at it:
please make the player start at the first track automatically,once the playlist is uploaded

Must be a local bug then,because while playing a track,if I select next it shifts position,but does not start to play until I select next once more or pushes the play button

Something REALLY annoying:
When pressing next in the sb-2 version,I also have to press play to make next track actually start.
Why not make it start to play next track "on the fly" when clicking "next"
