Hi Peter,

Would a 500GB SSD be sufficient?

Hi Guys,

If anyone thinks “where’s the smear” with his present set up, he’s in for a wonderful surprise, once he hooks up the Mach III to his set up.

This is my very first reaction with the Mach III. The low end is deeper, tuneful & louder, without any colour.

The Lush ^2 compliments the Mach III & fine tunes the improvements brought about by the Mach III.

Kudos to Peter for the brilliant Mach III & the Lush^2.

Enjoying every minute of the very musical experience.

Best regards,

Arvind
63  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd PC / Need to remove Video card from Mach III? on: October 02, 2018, 08:59:19 am
Hi Peter,

As in the Mach II, is it better, for SQ, to remove the video card from the Mach III too?

Best regards,

Arvind
64  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Re: Can't get cover art in Tidal on: September 21, 2018, 11:41:49 am
Not likely Peter. In the past issue I wasn’t getting the Coverart while playback of FLAC files in Unattended mode.

In this case I’m not getting the Coverart in the centre pane with Library clicked, only with Tidal hdd. Local hdd shows all the Coverart, FLAC or WAV.

The two issues are quite different in my opinion.

Hi Peter,

Music Server:
If I access my local hdd, I get all the cover art. However if I access the Tidal Hdd, no Coverart is seen.

Audio PC.
I get Coverart from Local as well as Tidal hdd.

Arvind

Hi Peter,

I am facing a problem of not getting cover art in the centre pane of XXHE in my music server when i select all albums of any artist. Only when i click on the album name in the 1st pane, sometimes the cover art shows & sometimes in another album it doesn't. I am attaching an image.

67  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / MQA playback at high speed on: July 03, 2018, 03:28:54 pm
Hi Peter,

Once in a while (not very often), MQA plays at high speed. This phenomenon is not with a particular album. If I clear the playlist & load the album again, playback is at normal speed.

As I mentioned it’s not a burning issue so maybe you could look into it at the next XXHE version.

Best regards,

Arvind
68  Ultimate Audio Playback / Phasure NOS1 DAC / Re: Phisolator & Lush on: June 02, 2018, 03:36:57 pm
Hi Mani,

I agree with your observation on the SQ with the Phisolator bypassed. The mids & highs are a lot clearer, however they have lost a bit of sparkle.

The lows are deeper & firmer though a tad louder.

Overall this set up is more musical.

I’m going to continue with this set up for a longer time to reconfirm my observations across different genre.

Best regards

Arvind

Hi Mani,

Interesting. To bypass the Phisolator, do you just remove the short usb cable & leave the Lush connected in its existing position?

Arvind
70  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd PC / Re: How to connect my Phasure Mach III Audio PC ? on: May 13, 2018, 05:31:21 pm
Hi Michael,

Peter wants you to know the OS in the XXHE playlist screen. Image no 12 attached.

Also to stop W10 updating, right click on the stop button in XXHE & choose the option to stop updating. Image 13 attached.

71  Ultimate Audio Playback / Orelino / Orelo MKII Loudspeakers / Re: Using Orelo for home theater L and F? on: May 10, 2018, 01:47:16 pm
I too leave the Orelo’s connected to the Yamaha surround processor via Ext amp banana inputs.

When using HT, I switch on the Yamaha & set the Orelo switch to Ext amp.

Hi Anthony,

Thank you very much, it worked on my music server. Got the RDP connection back on.

Hi guys,

I don’t update the Win 10 on the Audio PC but I had the same problem with Windows 7 updating in my music server. I have been unable to connect the music server to Audio PC via RDP since yesterday.

I will try the solution mentioned by Anthony on my Win 7 music server. Hope it works?

Will post results.

Arvind
74  Ultimate Audio Playback / Orelino / Orelo MKII Loudspeakers / Re: Using Orelo for home theater L and F? on: May 06, 2018, 06:05:00 pm
Hi Ramesh,

Sorry my mistake the output from the Yamaha processor is from the LR speaker output into the red/black banana input in the Orelo’s.

I presume the crossover does work with this set up. But Bert/Peter can confirm this.

Best regards,

Arvind
75  Ultimate Audio Playback / Orelino / Orelo MKII Loudspeakers / Re: Using Orelo for home theater L and F? on: May 06, 2018, 08:15:14 am
Hi Ramesh,

I use my Orelo’s as the front LR channel for home theatre.

What I’ve done is connected the LR preamp output from my Yamaha processor to the ext amp input in the Orelo’s. Works perfect.

Best regards,

Arvind
