Hi Juan,

I updated the drivers with the help of Driver Max but the clicks at start, 10/15 secs into the first track  & a loud cick around the 4/5th track still continues.

Best regards,

Arvind

Hi Peter,

Attached is a screen shot of searching for devices. This is where the laptop keeps searching & cant find any device. Similarly the audio pc also keeps searching.

Hi Peter,

If I understand you correctly, let me try & answer your questions. I have followed exactly as per the tutorials. The place I am getting stuck is that the audio pc & the laptop don't see each other.

I did the driver install again too but I can't find the pc device on the laptop & vici versa.

I hope I have answered your question.

Best regards,

Arvind

Hi Peter,

Attached are 2 screenshots from the Laptop.

Identical pictures from the audio PC too.

Hope these help.

Hi Peter,

With PA activated I still have soft clicks at the start of the first track, one loud click about 10/15 secs into the 1st track & a fairly loud click after 4/5 tracks. At stop there are no clicks.

With PA off there are no clicks at all. But SQ is not as good of course.

Have tried increasing Q1 but it's almost the same situation. Increasing SFS also gives the same result. CPU graph doesn't show any specific indication.

Any suggestions?

Kind regards,

Arvind

Hi Peter,

I installed the driver from the e mail on the audio PC & laptop. However neither computers are able to locate each other. I rechecked the driver download, both seem ok but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

Best regards,

352  Ultimate Audio Playback / Your thoughts about the Sound Quality / Re: Phase Alignment - WOW, WOW, WOW! on: August 23, 2012, 09:13:32 am
Hi Peter,

Yesterday I activated PA & i must say that the SQ across the spectrum is fantastic...I have heard nothing like this before. You are a genius & hats of to you for creating this feature.

From what little I could understand this feature applies a DC Offset so that the LSB shifts from zero. This gives rise to DC voltage at the preamp, causing clicks at volume change. The only bothersome part is these clicks at start, at volume change via XX or from preamp & very rarely a slightly loud click during playing a track.

Since I operate volume control from a preamp, I could install DC blocking capacitors after the DAC. Would you advise this or just live with the clicks?

Best regards,

Arvind

Hi Peter,

I took the precaution of checking with Ken Stevens (CAT) & he has confirmed that the preamp & amp has DC Blocker. However I will still check the DC voltage with & without PA before connecting the speakers.

Hi Peter,

Sorry I forgot to mention that the Activation was done successfully with the previous Activation Code. Coverart has red border & I could min OS too. In a day or two I will try PA also.

Best regards,

Hi Peter,

I have tried SFS of 2, 100, 120, 200 & 400 with Q1= 30 & xQ1=1. In all these settings the playback doesnt start. Really cant seem to understand what is the problem.
